These nanograin carbide KL cutters are exceptionally sharp and retain their edge for a remarkably long turning life. The cutters can be rotated 90 degrees to present a fresh sharp edge. 

 

Currently available to fit our KL (1/2") tool bars are: a 15 mm square cutter (KL-0),  a slightly rounded 15 mm square cutter (KL-150), and a more rounded 15 mm square cutter (KL-50).  

 

The KL line also includes a 16 mm round (KL-R), a negative rake 16 mm (KL-R-NR) and a 20 mm (KL-R2) diameter round cutter.

 

A diamond shaped detail cutter has also been added to the KL line (KL-D).

 

All KL cutters are ground with a 30 degree bevel.

 

We recommend cutting at, or above centre; otherwise these tools may become too aggressive.
