The 1/2" (12.7mm) shafts are Grade 304 Stainless Steel with the corners machined to fit in a handle drilled to 5/8" x 3" (15.9mm x 76.2mm) – the size of the tang – and CNC-machined to fit the individual Nanograin Carbide Cutter.

KL-R Tool Set (Round)
As with all wood turning tools these nanograin carbide tools will provide years of service if treated with respect and care. We recommend cutting at, or above centre; otherwise these tools may become too aggressive. Handle with care; sharp impacts will cause breakage of the carbide insert.
Always wear a dust mask, safety glasses and a face shield when turning. Loose clothing, hair, and gloves should be well clear of the work area.
